At EPOC Handcrafted Beds, we’ve got a ‘zero to landfill’ sustainability target, ingrained into our company ethos and enforced by our ISO 14001 approval. We should all live in harmony with the world around us, and the least we can do is to ensure responsible, sustainable practices for a cleaner, greener tomorrow.
Our Ethos
At EPOC Handcrafted Beds, we take the environment seriously. We buy all of our materials from sustainable sources.
End-of-life Responsibility
100% of all mattresses disposed of through us avoid landfill. We have specifically chosen recycling partners who deconstruct mattresses by hand – this produces a higher rate and quality of recyclable materials obtained from old mattresses.
Cleanest Fleet
As part of our commitment to the environment, EPOC has undertaken to replace our sales fleet with hybrid electric vehicles and our delivery vans and trucks are top of the range, meeting EURO 5 or EURO 6 emission standards, ensuring they’re as environmentally friendly as they can be, upgraded every 5 years.

We continually strive to improve our environmental performance and aim to achieve standards that exceed the minimum levels required by legislation and general codes of practice.
